The Simple Version
The photographer retains ownership of all images created, though clients receive a usage license for professional applications. We reserve rights to use client photos for portfolio and marketing. Professional conduct is expected, with timely payment required.

Scheduling an appointment constitutes automatic agreement to all stated terms, including granting permission for portfolio and marketing use of photographs.

Copyright and Image Ownership
We Own the Photos
- Photographer Chad Isaiah retains copyright to all created images
- Client cannot claim ownership or copyright
- Ownership persists indefinitely
What You CAN Do
- Professional use: LinkedIn, websites, business cards, resumes
- Social media posting
- Personal printing and display
- Marketing materials inclusion
- Personal branding applications
What You CANNOT Do
- Sell photographs or prints
- License images to others
- Create merchandise for sale without permission
- Remove watermarks or credits
- Claim authorship
- Extensively modify without approval
- Redistribute high-resolution files
Model Release Agreement
Clients automatically grant unlimited permission for:
- Portfolio display
- Social media marketing across all platforms
- Advertising (online, print, billboards)
- Print marketing materials
- Editorial use in publications
- Educational materials and workshops
- Competition and award submissions
- Other promotional/commercial purposes
Additional Terms:
- No compensation provided
- No approval required for each use
- Worldwide, perpetual permission
- Rights transferable to business partners
- Cannot be revoked except in extraordinary circumstances
Opt-Out Option:
Written notice required before session; may affect pricing or availability.
Booking and Payment Terms
Appointments:
- Book via Calendly scheduling system
- Punctuality expected; lateness reduces session time
- Overtime incurs additional fees
Payment:
- Due at booking or as agreed
- Credit card via Stripe accepted
- Invoicing via QuickBooks available
- USD pricing
- Prices subject to change for future bookings
Cancellations:
- 48+ hours: full refund
- Within 48 hours: forfeit deposit/fee
- Weather reschedules without penalty
- No-shows result in total payment forfeiture
Delivery:
- 7 days typical timeline
- Rush delivery available for additional fee
- Digital delivery via CloudSpot secure gallery
- Client responsible for backup after delivery
Conduct and Behavior
Expected standards include:
- Respectful treatment of staff
- Sobriety at session
- Following photographer directions
- Adhering to studio safety rules
We reserve the right to refuse service or end a session early if anyone behaves inappropriately, without refund.
Limitation of Liability
- Equipment failure: rescheduling or refund offered
- Data loss: liability capped at amount paid
- Personal injury: clients assume all risk
- No liability for consequential damages
Maximum liability equals payment received; photographer not responsible for unforeseen circumstances.
Changes to Services
We reserve the right to modify pricing, packages, services, terms, and refuse service.
Legal Jurisdiction and Disputes
- Pennsylvania state law governs
- Allegheny County, Pennsylvania venue
- Direct resolution preferred before legal action
- Losing party pays attorney fees
Severability
Unenforceable provisions don't invalidate remaining terms.
Entire Agreement
These terms, along with our Privacy Policy, represent the complete agreement between you and Chad Isaiah Studios.
Acknowledgment
Reading and booking constitutes binding agreement acceptance.
